Ras Johnson grew up on the Isle of Anglesey. He trained as an architect/planner, with a particular interest in conservation of historic and classical buildings.
He draws his inspiration from the seam beaches and coast of Anglesey, North Wales, interlinked with the Welsh concept of Hiraeth (a deep warmth and longing for home, family and homeland).
