In 1991 Mole was invited to stay in a little cabin in the forests of Luxembourg by Jean Hilger. The cabin was situated on a hangar of fir trees overlooking a small river meandering over a petit flood plain. It belonged to Hilger and was equipped with jewellery work bench, wood stove to cook on, bed and bath.
Hilger had a Fine Gallery in Luxembourg centre not far from the cathedral. He proposed supplying Mole with gold, logs, food and wine so that he might prepare an exhibition.
