This led to a series of "cage" brooches where thin wire forms an airy structure using triangulation and other strengthening devices.
The work is no longer two dimensional, but three; miniature theatre sets if you like.
Elements contained in these cages, Mole realised with delight, could be spidery and wafer thin as they are so protected. You may put anything in there.
Delight because all this allows for minimum of expense in materials.
One is selling air and voids for the larger part.
